Hoover High School coach Devon Hind will share life lessons and stories of leadership during an event at the Hoover Public Library Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. Hind will speak and then sign copies of his book “Run for Your Life!” on the Library Plaza. Hind has coached cross-country and track at Hoover High for more than 21 years. The book is a compilation of inspirational letters Hind has written to his students over the years.
