Hoover Mayor Gary Ivey will join members of the Hoover Historical Society and the Monte D’Oro Neighborhood Association at 1:45 p.m. April 27 for a dedication ceremony for the Hoover Historical Society marker in the Monte D’Oro neighborhood. The event in recognition of the neighborhood’s 50th anniversary will be held on Wisteria Drive at Monte D’Oro Drive. For more information, email Judy Casey at jac46@bellsouth.net.
