Outscoring its opponents 18-1, winning the final game 7-0, and defeating the defending state champions, Athens High School, the John Carroll Varsity Girls’ Soccer team brought home another championship trophy recently winning the annual Shamrock Classic in Cullman.
Leading scorers were sophmores, Camryn Lyster with eight and Lindsey Flemming with five. Flemming was selected as the tournament MVP and Lyster was selected for the All-Tournament Team.
