Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Jones of Atmore announce the engagement of their daughter, Miriam Clare, to Adam Paul Vansant, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Burns Vansant of Hoover.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Gordon Sr. of Atmore, the late Mrs. Ouida Parker Murphy of Atmore and Mr. Robert R. Jones Jr. of Montgomery.
Miss Jones is a graduate of Auburn University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business administration in accounting. She is employed with ServisFirst Bank in Birmingham working in the correspondent banking division.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Burbank of Columbiana and Mr. and Mrs. Weaver Vansant of Wilsonville.
Mr. Vansant is a graduate of Auburn University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration in finance. He is working in the accounting department with Sterne Agee & Leach Inc. in Birmingham.
After an April wedding in Auburn, the couple will live in Vestavia Hills.
