Linly Heflin Scholarship Luncheon

The Sheraton Birmingham Hotel Ballroom will be the setting for the 55th annual Linly Heflin Scholarship Luncheon and Fashion Show on Sept. 25. Khanh Nguyen, the creative director and designer of the Nha Khanh collection, will present her latest fall/winter designs at the event, which begins at noon. The collection will be introduced by Gus Mayer, a longtime sponsor and partner of the Linly Heflin Unit. The event is the primary fundraiser for the Linly Heflin Scholarship program, which over the years has awarded more than 3,000 scholarships worth more than $5 million to Alabama women attending colleges and universities in the state. Megan LaRussa, fashion consultant and director of Southern Femme, will produce the fashion show. Wendy Garner, NBC 13’s Daytime Alabama host, will be the emcee.
