Solomon Moore, a rising senior at Spain Park High has been elected to serve as the National Vice President of Engagement for Educators Rising, a national organization supporting and developing future educators across the country.

This new role allows him to represent Alabama students on a national stage, help shape student engagement nationwide, and highlight the work being done in Hoover and the Over the Mountain area as well as across our state to support future teachers.
Educators Rising is a national organization dedicated to developing highly skilled educators by guiding high school and college students who aspire to teach.
Through a network of local chapters, state affiliates, and national programs, Educators Rising provides students with opportunities to explore teaching as a profession, gain classroom experience, and connect with mentors who model excellence in education.
The organization hosts annual conferences, national competitions, and leadership training sessions that bring together students, teachers, and education professionals from across the country. Participants engage in workshops on instructional strategies, classroom management, and educational policy, gaining insight into the realities and rewards of teaching. Educators Rising also partners with colleges, universities, and school districts to create pathways that make the transition from student to teacher more accessible and sustainable.
