Author Avery Yearby will discuss his memoir about his life with myasthenia gravis at the Homewood Public Library on Aug. 15. The book talk and book signing will be held at 6 p.m. in the Round Auditorium. Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune neuromuscular disorder. The Myasthenia Gravis Society will receive 20 percent of the proceeds from book sales to use for patient support and education. Books will be available for purchase.
