Michelle Ann Morrisey and Anthony Joseph Bencomo were married May 20 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Lomita, Calif. Bishop Joseph Sartoris and Rev. Ricardo Viveros officiated at the nuptial Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Michael and Mrs. Elaine Morrisey of Vestavia Hills. The groom is the son of Ms. Cathleen Bencomo of Lomita.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. She wore a champagne satin and pearl lace gown and her mother’s pearls.
The maid of honor was Sally Bedgood of Marina Del Rey, Calif.; matron of honor was Alecia LaFon of Birmingham. Bridesmaids were Melissa Dixon Morrisey of Lake Worth, Fla., sister-in-law of the bride, and Nichole Bencomo of Lomita, sister of the groom.
The best man was Kevin Altobelli, of Palmdale, Calif. Groomsmen were Ron Machon of Redondo Beach, Calif.; David Morrisey of Lake Worth, brother of the bride; and Andy Altobelli, of Harbor City, Calif.
A reception followed at The Madison, a historic restaurant in Long Beach, Calif. After a Mediterranean cruise, the couple live in Lakewood, Calif.
