Out of Darkness Walk

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention will host the Out of Darkness Walk starting at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 2 at Heardmont Park, 5452 Cahaba Valley Rd. The ninth annual event is aimed at raising awareness about depression and suicide, honoring loved loves and raising money for research, education and support groups. Registration opens at 1 p.m. There is no registration fee. Complimentary refreshments will be served. The event will end by 4:30 p.m. For more information, call 613-6630.
