Paws for a Cause

The Animal League of Birmingham will host the fifth annual Paws for a Cause 5K Run from 8 a.m.-noon on Sept. 21 at Veterans Park in Hoover. The event will also include a kids’ fun run and a pet walk. The event will benefit the Shelby Humane Society. Medals and gift baskets will be awarded to the top winners, including four-legged participants.
