Irene Thames Gardner Photography and A’Mano Gifts have teamed up for the third annual 2013 Mug Shots Event March 1 and 2 at A’Mano Gifts in Mountain Brook.
The event will be from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day at the store, located at 2702 Culver Road in Mountain Brook Village Shopping Center.
For $35, pet owners can receive a photo session, a 5×7 portrait of their furry friend and a chance to win the 2013 Mug Shots Contest.
The contest runs from March 9-15. It cost $1 to vote, with all proceeds going to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
The top dog in the contest will be featured on the cover of the 2014 Mug Shots calendar and the top 12 finishers will also be featured in the calendar.

Last year’s event raised more than $7,000 for the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
