Hand in Paw’s 14th annual signature event and fundraiser, Picasso Pets, will be held on Aug. 16 starting at 5:30 p.m. at Old Car Heaven, 3501 First Avenue South in Birmingham. The event will showcase the love of animals and celebrate their abilities to brighten people’s lives. The evening will begin with a silent auction with food catered by Shindigs, beer donated by Cahaba Brewing Company, wine and a specialty drink.
