PurpleStride Birmingham 2014 will be on Feb. 22 at Homewood Central Park. The event includes a 5K timed run and family-friendly walk. All donations will go to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s efforts to fund research for a cure for pancreatic cancer. Fees are $10-$20.
