Dr. and Mrs. Peter Anthony Saway of Vestavia Hills announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Marie, to Matthew Sean Moore II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Sean Moore of Leeds.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Abraham Saway of Jackson, Miss., and Lt. Col. (Ret.) and Mrs. Robert Duncan of Gig Harbor, Wash.
Miss Saway is a graduate of John Carroll Catholic High School and a 2007 graduate of Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, where she received her bachelor’s degree. She was a member of Chi Omega sorority and the Board of Aeons.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Francis Moore of Miami and Ms. Barbara Arnold of Indianapolis.
Mr. Moore is a graduate of John Carroll Catholic High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in history. He will graduate in May from Cumberland School of Law.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 25 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Mountain Brook.
