Southeastern Outings Day Hike

Red Mountain Park
Southeastern Outings will host a day hike Oct. 19 at 2 p.m. at Red Mountain Park in Birmingham. Hikers can explore the 1,200-acre park in two or three tours of different lengths and distances. The longest tour will take about two hours. The shortest will be 30 minutes or less. Well-behaved, properly supervised children 7 and older are welcome. Hikers will depart from the dead end of Frankfurt Drive just off Lakeshore Parkway at 2 p.m. For more information, visit www.redmountainpark.org.
