Volunteer Training Sessions

Indian Springs School
Special Equestrians, a therapeutic horseback riding program for people with physical, mental, developmental and emotional disabilities, will hold training sessions for new volunteers on Feb. 8, 9, 12 and 13. The program is looking for volunteers to work with the more than 100 children and adults it serves each year. The mandatory training sessions will be held from 10 a.m.-noon on Feb. 8, 1-3 p.m. on Feb. 9, 5-7 p.m. on Feb. 12 and 4-6 p.m. on Feb. 13. Volunteers must attend one of the training sessions, which will be held at the Special Equestrians facility on the Indian Springs School campus in North Shelby County.
