Unbroken: Gold Star Families Bond to Salute Memories of Loved Ones

Marynell Winslow is determined to make sure the memory of her son Ryan and other Alabama servicemen and women lives on. Winslow, above at Veteran’s Park in Hoover with a plaque honoring her son and other military personnel, is involved in a group to raise money to build a memorial to honor the state’s military servicemen and women who’ve died in the “War on Terror” at American Village.
