Taylor-Mincy
Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Wayne Taylor celebrated the wedding of their daughter, Jamie Nelson Taylor, to Joshua Bryan Mincy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dennis Darling of Mobile, on May 24 at Canterbury United Methodist Church. The Rev. Samuel Williamson officiated the ceremony. A brunch followed at The Club.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Edwards Phillips of Tuscaloosa, Mrs. Paul Wayne Taylor and the late Mr. Paul Wayne Taylor of Birmingham. She is a 2007 graduate of Mountain Brook High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Alabama, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority.
The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Wayne Mincy of Mobile. He is a 2009 graduate of McGill-Toolen High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Alabama, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Kylie Ann Routman of Birmingham as maid of honor. Forrest Edwards Taylor, brother of the bride, served as the best man. Numerous friends of the bride and groom were honorary bridesmaids and groomsmen. The groom’s grandfather read the epistle lesson.
After a honeymoon trip to Key West, Fla., the couple live in Mobile.
