The evening began at 7 p.m. with an invitation-only Men’s Committee dinner hosted by the Ballet Guild in the Upper Lounge of the Country Club of Birmingham. The main event began at 9 p.m. with the presentation of the 2010 Ball of Roses presentees in the East Room. Presentees wore pastel colored gowns and elbow-length white gloves. Heavy greenery consisting of elae, leulothoe and acuba accompanied by pink and white roses and hand-made paper poms poms filled the East Room.
