Samford University’s Michael J. and Mary Anne Freeman Theatre and Dance Series will present “The Wizard of Oz” May 2-3 at 7:30 p.m. and May 4 at 2:30 p.m. in Samford’s Wright Center Concert Hall. Laura Byland directs the Royal Shakespeare Company adaptation of the L. Frank Baum family classic in a production that includes wicked witches, flying monkeys and well-known songs from the 1939 film. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students. Tickets can be purchased online at tickets.samford.edu or by calling 726-2853.
