The Altamont School
Altamont English teacher Jim Palmer will read Truman Capote’s holiday classic “A Christmas Memory” Dec. 3. This annual tradition was begun by former Altamont headmaster Martin Hames, who first read the story to his class at Pratt City School in 1958. A 5 p.m. reception will be followed by the reading at 5:30 p.m. in the school’s Cabaniss Fine Arts Center. For more information, call 874-3502.
