Vestavia Hills High School officials announced on Feb. 12 that VHHS has been named a finalist for the grand prize in Varsity Brands’ Most Spirited High School Awards competition.
One of six school throughout the nation chosen, VHHS is in the running to be named the 2020 America’s Most Spirited High School. In addition to the title, the winning school will receive $25,000.
This is the consecutive year that the school has been recognized by Varsity Brands. Last year, the school’s RISE program, a semester-long, student-led fundraiser, was a Top 10 finalist in the Most Spirited Community Service Project category.
The winner will be chosen through an online vote, available here. Voting is open until Feb. 25, and individuals can vote once a day.
