The VSA Alabama Junior Patrons will host the eighth annual Acoustic Soup fundraiser from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Feb. 9 at WorkPlay. The fundraiser was rescheduled from Jan. 30 due to the winter storm. The event will feature live music by the Big Tasties, drinks, delicious soups, breads and desserts prepared by some of Birmingham’s most popular chefs. The event will also include a silent auction including jewelry, art and gift certificates. All proceeds benefit VSA Alabama and its programs serving children and adults with disabilities and chronic illnesses through the arts. Tickets are $35 each or $60 for a pair.
