Vulcan Park and Museum will host a festive outdoor community 107th birthday celebration June 5, offering fun activities for the whole family. Admission is $5 for ages 5 and up and includes entrance to the party, Vulcan’s Observation Balcony and Museum. Admission is free for children 4 and under and Vulcan members.
Guests are encouraged to bring donations for tornado relief that will be given to the Red Cross for distribution.
At 2 p.m., Birmingham Mayor William Bell will be honored, and guests will sing “Happy Birthday” to Vulcan. A new exhibit inside Vulcan Center Museum also will be unveiled at this time, and free Blue Bell Ice Cream will be served while supplies last.
Additional food and refreshments from Tropical Adventure Shaved Ice and Coca-Cola will be available for purchase.
Parking is limited. A free shuttle will be provided.
