Walking to Remember Team Pledge Luncheon

Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama will host the Team Pledge Luncheon from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Aug. 30 at Brookdale Place University Park, located at 400 University Park Drive in Homewood. Dr. Richard Powers, an Alzheimer’s advocate, physician and ACS board member will be the guest speaker. At the luncheon, plans will be made for the 18th annual Walking to Remember event scheduled for Nov. 2 at the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover. Reservations are due Aug. 23 and can be made by emailing Vance Holder at vholder@alzca.org or by calling the ACA office at 871-7970.
