Yom HaShoah Commemoration

The Birmingham Yom HaShoah Commemoration will be at 7 p.m. April 23 at Brock Recital Hall at Samford University. The event will include a candle-lighting ceremony in memory of those lost during the Holocaust and a special performance of “The Children of Willesden Lane” featuring Mona Golabek as she tells the story of her mother’s journey from Nazi-occupied Austria to the concert stages of the world.
